Belum lama ini Samsung mengeluarkan produk terbarunya Samsung Galaxy Y (Young) yang sudah bersistem Operasi Android Gingerbread (2.3.5). mungkin OS sebelumnya rooting sudah banyak cara, mulai dari memakai adb-shell command line, oneclicksuperuser, z4root dll banyak softwarenya
Namun rooting di Gingerbread ada terdapat sedikit perbedaan,
Langsung saja!!!!
1. Pertama download file yang diperlukan (link ada dibawah) dan rename menjadi update.zip
2. Copy update.ziip ke memory SD Card
3. Matikan Handphone
4. Nyalakan kembali handphone ke recovery mode (tekan power, volume up, dan tombol HOME secara bersamaan)
5. pilih update from SD Card
6. Lalu pilih file Update.zip
7. Tunggu beberapa saat.....
8. Reboot dan........ Selamat....... Android kamu udah dalam status rooted... :)
UPDATE: s/d firmware 2.3.6 terbaru.. root zip ini masih tetap compatible :)

harusnya bisa di unroot... dengan cara yang sama di upload via recovery mode, tapi saya belum dapet file unroot.zip nya, ntar kalo udah dapet saya share deh :)

me-root nggak menghapus data kok.. jadi langsung root aman2 saja.. tapi misal mau backup ya lebih baik lah buat jaga2 ^^

kalo agar supaya... aplikasi bs di link atau dipindah ke sd card, sd card harus di partisi dulu. setelah itu instal app yg buat mindahin app to sd card, pke link2sd atau app2sd. dan salah satu syarat untuk bisa menggunakan applikasi buat mindah app ke sdcard itu hp harus udah di root, jd nge root hp itu bukan berrti lanhsung bs mindahin app ke sd card....

@F J Laksana: SD card yang paling bagus ya tergantung classnya mas, misal class 6 mempunyai speed 6MB/s write, kalo class 10 ya 10MB/s write.. monggo tanya saja sama para menjual SD card pasti tau tentang Speed class masing2 SD card, harganya juga laen soalnya hehe

Makasih agan Hermawan. Udah ane root dan berhasil. Tapi setelah di root memang belum bisa mindah aplikasi dari phone ke sdcard. Jadi setelah di root, sdcard kita harus di format dan di partisi (di komputer), di sini menggunakan partiition wizard6. Partisinya ada 2, yaitu untuk aplikasi storage dan storage biasa yang berisi data/musik/foto dll. Setelah itu install aplikasi link2sd, dan baru satu persatu kita pindah ke sd. selamat mencoba.
